Most of them are models the race organizers or sponsors higher to show off their goodies and wear their clothes. And they pick the cutiest ones USUALLY and let them stand up their as sort of their PRIZE since they like to get noticed and most of these events are on tv or in front of big crowds. Sort of to get their (being the girls) willies off by saying NE NER NE NER IM up here and you are way down there and I get to stand next to the racer and you're not.
